Manufacturing Services Overview KTM SOLUTIONS, INC. will work with your suppliers, manufacturers, or our affiliates to develop cost effective designs. Using design for manufacturing principles, our technical staff will work with the manufacturers to develop designs that meet the expectations of the operators while satisfying the requirements of the design.
Prototypes- KTM uses Stratasys FDM Technology to produce ABS Plastic parts. These parts can be produced in several colors and within 48 hours. KTM will produce a 3D dataset to drive the FDM machine, or will use a client supplied STL file. Parts are dimensionally correct within .005 inches. Assistance to small manufacturers - KTM helps small manufacturing companies to modify existing designs for producibility. We will work with the original design company to develop solutions that are economical for small parts producers. We will solid model existing hardware for compatibility with NC machines. KTM provides technical services to manufacturers that can't afford the cost of a full time technical group.
Tooling assistance - KTM will develop holding fixtures, small parts tools, assembly jigs, and handling equipment.
Part and Assembly Fabrication - KTM has working relationships with part and assembly manufacturers across the United States. Our technical team works closely with these manufacturers to provide cost effective design solutions. Whether you want product definition or parts, KTM SOLUTIONS, INC. can develop the right solution for you.
Reverse Design - KTM has a process for developing product definition from existing parts. We will reverse design sheet metal and machined parts as required to provide definition for remanufacture of obsolete parts. We will also update designs to take advantage of modern technology and manufacturing processes.
